not sure how to best word this into the dictionary but i asked chatgpt whether this dictionary's definitions of 来 account for its usage in cases such as "¿要不要来点儿甜点?", and it had this to say about it:

Your list of definitions for "来" captures many of its core uses, but in the context of "要不要来点儿甜点?," the specific meaning involves "来" as a light verb used to suggest doing something or adding something in a casual, colloquial way. Here, "来" roughly conveys the idea of "to have" or "to get" in a sense of introducing or suggesting something.

In this case, "来点儿" translates to "get a little" or "have some," making the entire sentence "Would you like to have some dessert?" or "Do you want to get some dessert?"

So while your list covers many of "来"’s meanings, you might consider adding an additional definition:

- **Used to suggest or initiate an action or having something** (as in 来点儿).

This additional entry captures the sense of suggesting an action or consumption, which fits your example sentence perfectly.

Editor: Copilot got it right:
"Yes, the definition provided does cover the usage of "来" in the example "要不要来点儿甜点?" Here, "来" is used as a substitute for a more specific verb, which fits under the sense "(used as a substitute for a more specific verb)." ... "

It's the same as sense #5 in the following definition.
