But my guess is that you have forgotten about your previous submission. In regard to the threads.net discussion: While 马子 is certainly crude and objectifying, the tone of the discussion indicates that it's not necessarily used with the intention of being derogatory or hurtful. Many users engage with the term playfully or acknowledge its outdated and casual use, showing that it's often treated as an offhand, slang expression rather than a deeply offensive or malicious one. Our definition says 马子 is slang, that it corresponds "babe" or "chick", and that it also means "chamber pot". All this suggests that it's a rather unsavory, non-PC term. But that doesn't mean it's derogatory (intended to be hurtful). |
