If it had "lit." in front of it, it'd be more acceptable, but it doesn't. LA 1.又滾又爬；形容行走艱難。[例]一路連滾帶爬地，總算回來了。 2.形容恐慌或狼狽。[例]嚇得他連滾帶爬地逃走了。 I think 滾 in this context is better thought of as "taking a tumble" than "rolling".
