<< review queue entry 77034 - submitted by 'ivanktw3' >> "item (on a program)" seems to me to give off wrong meaning to whole definition: program as in agenda, schedule of events/activities, list of goals etc. But the term is mainly program as in TV show/broadcasts, sometimes artistic performances/events in theater etc (e.g. https://www.npac-ntt.org/program/events) I don't think an extra "item (on a program)" sense is needed - that's just a matter of plural vs singular. And 台 looks like an odd measure word, it's mostly 個 for TV. Maybe 場 (for events/performances) and 檔 (TV timeslots). ------------------- Editor: > "mainly program as in TV show/broadcasts" Yes, but even in that context, the bigger picture is that it's an item on the TV station's schedule of programs. > "台 looks like an odd measure word" 台 is used to emphasize the broadcast or production aspect of the program. E.g. 我是这台节目的总导演。 我希望这台节目永不结束,一直演下去。 12月18日晚上,表演专业(音乐表演)在综合馆将演出一台音乐节目。 > "seems to me to give off wrong meaning to whole definition: program as in agenda, schedule of events/activities" That's not a "wrong meaning", though: 指社交活動或行程安排。 例 「明天吧!我今天已經有節目了」。 (How about tomorrow? I already have plans today.) 你今天的节目是什么? What are your plans for today? |
