And even if the meaning was obvious, I definitely don't agree with deleting it. For instance, 红灯 is "obviously" red + light = red light, but we would still want to keep the word, along with thousands of others in the dictionary. "to speak concisely and practice frequently" I don't think this is worded correctly, which is partly why I don't think the meaning is obvious. "practice frequently" makes me believe 精讲多练 is something the student does, but why would a student "speak concisely"? Isn't that something a teacher should do while they're teaching? After all students typically listen rather than speak. But then, a teacher wouldn't be one to "practice frequently". So no matter how I try to interpret it, the definition just doesn't make sense to me.
