Seems like we have lots of situations where the less common word is defined while the more common one is missing. "乐昌破镜" 271,000 "乐昌之镜" 58,300 "乐昌分镜" 22,000 破镜 of course means "broken mirror" but it's also figurative for a "broken marriage", i.e. divorce. See also 破镜重圆, which is probably what the current definition "happy wife-husband reunion" is referring to. |
