<< review queue entry 77710 - submitted by 'kbaiko' >> << follow-up of change log entry 84224 >> << review queue entry 77691 - submitted by 'encn' >> Google About 1.800 results sounds like some weird translation of English food name ---------- Editor: 五花肉 - pork belly (also called "streaky pork") 腌猪肉 - our entry says "bacon" though I think it's more like salted/cured pork. May have been mixed up with a different yan1, 烟肉 And I guess the original submitter combined the two to get a new word, 五花腌猪肉, or salted/cured pork belly (which is not streaky bacon, according to Baidu, streaky bacon is 斑条烟肉). ---------- Follow up: Not bacon, and it's a construct. 腌 + 猪肉 |
