<< review queue entry 76580 - submitted by 'polaris' >> more of an encyclopaedia (Wikipedia) entry ---------------------------- Editor: You are correct, and we tend to decline to add entries like this (proper nouns) nowadays, unless it's the name of a Chinese premier etc. However, these entries are already in the dictionary, and it's something of a distraction to deal with submissions for deleting or evaluating the worth of such entries (encyclopaedia-type entries) that we have already added -- unless you're pointing out something fundamentally wrong with the definition. Please don't use the "=" syntax. What it does is update the time stamp of the entry. We use the time stamp to determine whether an entry has been reviewed by an editor and determined to be up to date in terms of v2 format and correctness of the pinyin and definition etc. I don't want to review these three entries (and others like them) and fix their various formatting issues *right now*. I have other priorities. That doesn't mean these entries won't be reviewed eventually. |
