<< review queue entry 75247 - submitted by 'encn' >> try v2 format why is it necessary to add braces { } to the headwords? it's easy to parse the mixed version (v1+v2) of CC-CEDICT with one script. ----------------------------- Editor: I'm not sure that it's necessary. Maybe braces are redundant like the slashes at the start and the end of a definition. At any rate, the Editor website was modified a few months ago so that braces are not required for the likes of OK繃. I believe braces *can* still be used, though. Braces need not be displayed by apps, of course, just as slashes and square brackets are not necessarily displayed. For example, 多糖 [[duo1tang2]] /polysaccharide/ can be displayed as 多糖 (duōtáng) polysaccharide |
