It means "whey" in Japanese, but I'm not so sure it can mean "whey" in Chinese -- 乳清 seems to be the more usual term, at any rate. Oh well, I'll keep it for now.
Wp ~ 乳清(にゅうせい)または乳漿(にゅうしょう)とは、乳(牛乳)から乳脂肪分やカゼインなどを除いた水溶液である。
