笑场指演员在演出中脱离剧情于人物而失笑,破坏了舞台艺术的严肃性与真实感。

唐嫣拍戏太爱笑场又被人吐槽了,她入行那会就有老戏骨说过这件事,曾把霍建华笑到无语

Editor: When corpsing, actors often try to suppress the laughter, and in such a case, you wouldn't describe it as "uncontrollable" laughter. Also, "laughing uncontrollably" doesn't imply the actor is breaking character. The script may specify that the actor should "laugh uncontrollably". So it's best to make it clear that 笑场 involves breaking character.

- "The scene was so ludicrous it was hard to play without corpsing."
- "He had a tendency to corpse in the middle of the sketch."
Diff:
# 笑場 笑场 [[xiao4chang3]] /(of an actor) to laugh uncontrollably during a performance/
+ 笑場 笑场 [[xiao4chang3]] /(of an actor) to break character by laughing; to corpse/
