There are a lot more examples but I don't know how useful they are to post here, after all it's just the "zi" sound
-------------------------------------------

Editor: Thanks for adding a new character, and for investigating its usage in order to propose a definition.

In most of your examples, 嗞 is only *part* of a word -- words like
啪嗞嗞
嗞咯嗞咯
嗞啦
咔嗞咔嗞

These words represent sounds that have a sibilant component. Of these, 嗞啦 seems to have quite a lot of usage, so I'll add it.

> "crackling sound of electricity"
A word like "crackling", with its repeated "k" sound, is not the best word to represent 嗞, especially at the head of the definition.
嗞 is more like "sz". As you say, "after all it's just the 'zi' sound".

"sizzling sound of water boiling"
Boiling water doesn't generally make a sizzling sound. Typically, it's more like "bulla-bulla" (in fact, that sound is the origin of the word "boil"*). It would be more precise to say that 嗞 is the sound of steam (or other gas) escaping under pressure. Actually, that's what ChatGPT indicated in a typically verbose answer, which I'll reduce to this: "[... 嗞 is] used to describe the sizzling or hissing sound [of] something hot [...] dropped into water or [...] a carbonated beverage [being] opened. [...]"

An example of steam escaping under pressure:
不斷摸索能補足視力的方法,用摸的去感覺咖啡的沖泡,聽嗞嗞聲打奶泡,...
"Continuously exploring methods to compensate for her lack of vision, using her sense of touch to feel the brewing of coffee, listening to the hissing sound while frothing milk, ..."

* Etymology: "boil: ... from Latin 'bullire' to bubble, from 'bulla' bubble"
