<< review queue entry 74753 - submitted by 'cws' >> heard the wife say 'where is the 头梳?'. maybe she need to disambiguate shu1 梳 with another shu1 书. or maybe she want to disambiguate shu1 with the english word 'shoe' :D code-switching introduces more ambiguities ------------------------------ Editor: Unlike 书 (in the sense of 'book'), 梳 is a bound form, not a word. So you don't say "Where is the 梳?" – you have to make a word by combining 梳 with other characters, as in 梳子 or 头梳 etc. |
