<< review queue entry 74055 - submitted by 'fourlights' >> I wrote this. Quote Creel and Michael Loewe of the Cambridge History of China . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legalism_(Chinese_philosophy)#Han_Fei's_branches_of_the_Fajia At the very least I will note to you, Han Fei synthesizes Shang Yang and Shen Buhai. Han Fei does not influence Shang Yang, that is backwards. Shang Yang is long dead before Han Fei. Li Si is a noteable figure, keep him in it if you want, but he wrote no book? Book of Lord Shang, Shenzi (Shen Buhai Book), Han Feizi. No Li Si book. Li Si Noteable figure of Fajia, is he philosophers of Fajia? No book. ------------------------------------- Editor: "Shang Yang is long dead before Han Fei." An excellent point! |
