Here's another point of view: "September" is a month. It doesn't mean "day in the month of September" just because "September 3" is a day rather than a month. Apollo is the name of an American space program. It doesn't mean "a specific mission in the Apollo program" just because "Apollo 11" was a mission rather than a program. If a user is perplexed by the fact that 礼拜五 means "Friday" when 礼拜 is defined as "week", maybe their thinking is too rigid. |
