Wiktionary says "Modern uses are primarily in translation from Chinese." In other words, "pachylosis" appears to be Chinglish. * * * Usage of 皮肤粗糙 that I found seemed to be compositional, ie indicating simply that the "skin is rough". 适用于高压人群或皮肤粗糙、干燥者 Ideal for anyone who suffers from stress or has rough and dry skin 干了二三年，我觉出自己是变了，我的皮肤粗糙了，我的嘴唇老是焦的，我的眼睛里老灰不溜的带着血丝。 After two or three years I could feel that I had changed a lot.
