1. 水道 doesn't only refer to aqueduct or sewer.
At the Number Two Habitat Lake, naturally irregular boulders form a V-shaped river bed with lemongrass and coconut palms planted all along its banks. "Listen to the water. This is not just a channel that can carry a large amount of water, but it also provides us with the rushing sound of water over stones," says Chung with a smile.

2. 水道口 /mouth of sewer/ ?
That doesn't seem to be correct.
Maybe Miles was looking at Google images of 下水道口?
But even that word seems to refer to a sewer access point (a covered hole).

At any rate, he had just added "sewer" to the definition of 水道 (in the same batch), which is misleading.
And that inclined him to suppose that 水道口 means "mouth of sewer".
Diff:
+ 水道 水道 [shui3 dao4] /watercourse (river, canal, drain etc)/water route/lane (in a swimming pool)/
