Like 豪華, it applies in a wide range of contexts, describing furniture, cars, buildings, decorations etc. See examples below. In contrast, words like "majestic" and "extravagant" are only suitable in a limited range of contexts ("extravagant couch"? "majestic car"?) Why write a none-word definition if one word does the job well? Ex. 在豪華真皮座椅環繞 surrounded by luxurious leather couches 開豪華轎車 drive a a luxury car 豪華裝潢 luxurious interiors 位於市政府附近的豪華劇場裡， In a large, luxurious theater not far from city hall, 小時候，金門駐軍超過十萬，沒有電視，全島人最豪華的娛樂就是野台電影。 When Dong was a boy there were over 100,000 troops stationed on Kinmen.
