One of the HSK 3.0 words that is not yet in CC-CEDICT: https://github.com/krmanik/HSK-3.0-words-list/blob/main/HSK%20List/HSK%207-9.txt#:~:text=恰然自得

This is yírán zìdé though: https://www.omgchinese.com/dictionary/chinese/怡然自得

Based on this..

https://zhidao.baidu.com/question/1372161937660262019.html

that link has this entries:

“恰然自得”是什么意思?
.
.
.
读音:yí rán zì dé"

..it seems that 恰然自得 is just another pronunciation for 怡然自得? The 恰 and 怡 almost look similar to each other

Made contented and complacent as separate glosses, complacent is a negative version or negative consequence of contented:

https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/complacent

Someone who is complacent has become overly content — the junk-food-eating couch potato might be feeling complacent about his health.

Or perhaps, 恰然自得 is just a common misspelling of 怡然自得 (https://zhidao.baidu.com/question/589054280.html)

> 不是“恰”然自得,而是“怡”然自得怡然自得

> 读音yí rán zì dé
--------------------------------------

Editor: 怡 is the correct character; 恰 is wrong.
