I have my doubts that "age stage" is a recognized term. Unlike "age group" and "age bracket", for example, it's not in the OED (even with a full-text search). 2. In context, "age" is often the best word to use: 生育年龄段 childbearing age 比赛按年龄段分组进行 (the children are split into groups according to their age) But "age" on its own is quite ambiguous, unfortunately. |
