My copy of 现代汉语词典 says "yan2 sui5". Maybe you are using a different edition. 2. 台湾教育部国语辞典 does not say "yan2 sui1". Have another look at your link. 3. Why are you quoting a Tw source? The pinyin we provide at the head of the entry is supposed to indicate pronunciation used on the mainland. 4. The consensus of mainland sources seems to be "yan2 sui5". 5. The Wikipedia article on 芫荽 says 台湾： 中华民国国语：yuánsuī 中国大陆： 普通话：yán sui，其中“荽”为轻声。 |
