As in "When you get married to your second spouse, he or she will be entitled to inherit most of what you own if you pass away." So "second spouse" is not the same thing as "second lady" (副总统夫人). The only male spouse of a US vice-president so far is Kamala Harris's husband, and I believe he is formally referred to as the "second gentleman", or informally as the "second spouse". But I doubt that he is "properly" referred to in Chinese as 副总统夫人. In summary, second lady = 副总统夫人 but second spouse ≠ (second lady / 副总统夫人) - - - - - - - - - - - > 这里想表达的应该是“第二次结婚的人” Yes. |
