<< review queue entry 70803 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> It's (Tw) according to K and Wiktionary, and Google results corroborate that -- there are more results for the trad than for the simp form of the word. Also, the Baike article gives a definition that isn't what it means according to Tw dicts (M and LA) -- it's an old sense listed in HDC. From the usage I saw, it seems like it's any sort of facility that looks after old, frail, or chronically ill people. So it *could* be a hospice, but I don't think 安養院 is used to *specifically* mean hospice (i.e. a facility for providing palliative care to the terminally ill). |
