If you look up 屁孩 via the "Search CC-CEDICT" link above, the entry for 小屁孩 will be displayed. 2) Is it "(Taiwan)"? (i.e. a term commonly used in Taiwan but not much in mainland China) Doesn't seem to be, based on these Google results: "屁孩" site:.tw - 406,000 "屁孩" site:.cn - 1,340,000 3) "wimpy kid" may be incorrect as a definition for 小屁孩. It might be based on a dubious assumption that the Chinese translation of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" (小屁孩日记) is a word-for-word accurate literal translation of the English title. So I might change "wimpy; brat" to just "brat". |
