1) "stock (in theater)" seems to be ambiguous. In AHD, for example, "stock" (sense #17) is defined as a. A theatrical stock company. b. The repertoire of such a company. c. A theater or theatrical activity, especially outside of a main theatrical center: a small role in summer stock. 2) NA says 保留剧目 can mean "a repertory item". LA's example sentence illustrates that: 《歌劇魅影》是紐約百老匯劇院的保留劇目。 |
