(Oxford) But it commonly means something different: 1) to look over or through in a casual or cursory manner https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/peruse 2) to read through something, especially in order to find the part you are interested in: 'He opened a newspaper and began to peruse the personal ads.' https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/peruse Therefore I suggest replacing it with something less ambiguous. |
