And if you're familiar with both 哭 and 鬧, you probably don't even need to look up the meaning of 哭鬧. "bawl" is natural English, but you can bawl in private. But if nobody else hears it, I suspect you wouldn't call it 哭鬧. LA ~ 哭泣吵鬧。 例 「小孩哭鬧不休」、「這位婦女因丈夫病逝，在醫院哭鬧」。 那位菲籍船員不停地哭鬧、撕紙來吃， The Filipino man could not stop crying, shouting, or tearing paper and eating it. 尤其他有一對不滿周歲的雙胞胎，一哭鬧就兩個一起， His less-than-one-year-old twins are especially challenging.
