So 研究會 could be translated as any of the following: - research group - research association - research society - study circle - study group I don't think we need an entry for 研究會 for those senses. 2) I'm not convinced by your single example for "research council". A research council is not a group that does research; it's a group that decides who gets money to do research. As far as I can see, that would typically be 研究委員會 or 研究院 or 研究評議會 or 研究理事會. - 英國醫學研究委員會 (Medical Research Council, MRC) - 歐洲研究院 (European Research Council) etc. |
