<< review queue entry 67774 - submitted by 'aaronwong' >> https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/humblebrag ---------------------- Editor: Thanks for yet another neologism. You haven't offered any examples, so I'm not sure whether you mean "humblebrag" as a verb or perhaps a noun. In fact, I find 凡尔赛 is used as an adjective, and "humblebrag" isn't suitable for that sense. I've written a definition for this adjectival sense. Ref ~ 如果别人对你说你很凡尔赛,就是在说你很装很会演戏。 总之“你很凡尔赛”的最终意义都离不开炫耀。 比如你说自己怎么长胖那么难,羡慕那些一吃就胖的,别人就会说你很凡尔赛。 https://jingyan.baidu.com/article/414eccf66c49c32a431f0aff.html |
