I think it's worth indicating that the word order is the reverse of English: i.e. "(activity) 见长" translates as "excel at (activity)" Examples: 「歐嬤烏蘇拉」則以道地德國家常菜見長，德國豬腳、香腸、配上各類可口的黑森林蛋糕，都是這家店的經典菜色。 Oma Ursel's Cafe dishes out genuine German homestyle cooking, including such classics as pork knuckles, sausage, and mouth-watering Black Forest gateau. 歷史悠久，向來以研究見長的成功大學工業設計系，在工設領域的期刊論文排名，已高居全球第二，學術能量豐沛。 National Cheng Kung University's Department of Industrial Design, which has excelled at research throughout its long history, now ranks number two in the world in terms of articles published in the field's academic journals. |
