<< review queue entry 67137 - submitted by 'haton' >> (used for spelling) I have collected a list of such descriptions of frequently-used character components. Is this interesting for the dictionary? If so, I can prepare a batch edit ------------------------------------------ Editor: 1) CC-CEDICT is a dictionary (a list of words and their definitions). We even include bound forms (characters like 尴) that aren't standalone words. But 爫 is neither a word nor a bound form, so it doesn't really belong. Since we already have it, we can leave it there, however. But I don't really want to *expand* such entries by adding extra information (such as "described as 爪字頭"). 2) 爪字頭 , on the other hand, *is* a word, and we can have an entry for it (if you submit one): 爪字頭 爪字头 [zhua3 zi4 tou2] /....../ Before submitting a batch, it's a good idea to put in several single-line submissions. If they are accepted without modification, then go ahead with a batch. |
