Your reference defines 乾俸 as 干薪, which MoE defines as follows: 不做事而領取的薪水。 如：「這些坐領乾薪的人，實在是阻礙社會進步的禍首。」 That's a "salary provided by a sinecure". So both "sinecure" and "salary" are wrong. |
