It's tracks, not a rut. That's mentioned in the Baike reference: "the track of an overturned cart". But the plural form ("tracks") would be better, since we are talking about a cart rather than a unicycle. A rut is a track that has become permanent as a result habitual wearing ("a track worn by habitual passage").
