That's an understatement. 委託 is used as the traditional form far more often than 委托, and your proposal would eliminate 委託 from our dictionary and replace it with a less-commonly used traditional form 委托, which is already in the dictionary as the simplified form in this entry. 2) "the simple form of 託 is not 托" We use whatever the PRC declares to be the official simplified form.
