<< review queue entry 65635 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> If the entry has a date of death, it's superfluous, even comical, to say that the person is a "former Go player" or a "former linguist" etc. I don't think we should necessarily bother with "former" even if the person is alive but retired from their profession. For example, 比利 (Pelé) may not be playing much soccer any more (he's 79), but I don't have a problem with a definition like "Brazilian football star". |
