1) Although "workpoint" is a common enough spelling,
- "work point" is also very common (try googling "workpoint china prc", for example)
- the only English dictionary I find that has it (Oxford) spells it as "work point"
https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/work_point
- we have an existing entry that spells it as "work point"

2) I think we should have a link to 工分 in the entry for 记工, because that will help users who don't know what "work point" means.
Diff:
= 工分 工分 [gong1 fen1] /work point (measure of work completed in a rural commune in the PRC during the planned economy era)/
#
- 記工 记工 [ji4 gong1] /to record workpoints/
+ 記工 记工 [ji4 gong1] /to record work points 工分[gong1 fen1]/
#
- 記工員 记工员 [ji4 gong1 yuan2] /workpoint recorder/
+ 記工員 记工员 [ji4 gong1 yuan2] /work-point recorder/
