Applying your reasoning, we would look at the Google images for 禁止进入 and 禁止入内 and 禁止翻越 and conclude that 进入 and 入内 and 翻越 all mean "to trespass", whereas in fact they mean "enter" and "go inside" and "climb over (a barrier)" respectively.
