1) Title case for the book title: New history of the Yuan dynasty --> New History of the Yuan Dynasty 2) 新元史 --> 新元史[Xin1 Yuan2 shi3] 3) It seems unlikely that he wrote the whole thing in 1920. Wp says he *completed* it that year (《新元史》於1920年脫稿，...), not that he *wrote* it in 1920. https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E6%96%B0%E5%85%83%E5%8F%B2 4) The def of 新元史 could easily be mistaken as saying that Ke Shaomin compiled all 24 dynastic histories. So I rephrased the def, putting "sometimes listed as one of the 24 dynastic histories" at the end. 5) Capitalized "24 Dynastic Histories", consistent with our entry for 二十四史. |
