KEY gives:

$$ drama (or play)/dramas (or plays)

but isn't that just a combo of measure word + noun - as opposed to being an word?

Editor: Interesting word, not in dictionaries. But I didn't find anything that supports the idea that it's about breaking the fourth wall.

I've put in a sub for 入戏.

ACTOR

AUDIENCE
My translation:
<"These teen idols have no command of the Chinese language and they are hopeless at speaking their lines." Although his statement refers specifically to teen idols, audiences are finding that it's not just teen idols: these days there are also a number of professional actors whose delivery is so poor that they make the audience switch off as soon as they open their mouth. In an effort to solve the problem of poorly delivered lines adversely affecting the quality of the movie, some movies are using voice actors to dub the actors' lines.>
Diff:
# 出戲 出戏 [chu1 xi4] /to break the fourth wall/to break character/
+ 出戲 出戏 [chu1 xi4] /(of an actor) to disengage from the performance (e.g. after the show ends)/(of an audience) to lose interest in the performance/
