Editor: This is implicitly contained in cc-cedict already by virtue of the fact that we have an entry for 抄本, and another entry that says 鈔 and 抄 are variants.
抄本 抄本 [chao1 ben3] /handwritten copy/
鈔 钞 [chao1] /.../variant of 抄[chao1]/
A search engine should be able to put these facts together and display the entry for 抄本 when a user searches for 钞本.

By the way
- 抄本 is about 10x as common compared to 钞本, on .cn sites, according to Google.
- in the submission, the traditional character is wrong: it should be 鈔.
