It's supposed to be the transitive sense, of course 2) "obtained" - That's the simple past tense and past participle of "obtain". What's that doing in the definition? If we include a verb, we normally put it in the infinitive (e.g. "to obtain" or "to be obtained"). 3) "given" - That could be taken as the past participle of "give", or possibly an adjective. I'm not sure what was intended, but "to be given" would make sense as a gloss here. be praised - 记得上小学的时候，老师就告诉我们，某某同学做了好事，所以应该受到表扬。 be educated - 所有的儿童应据其个性与能力受到教育 be punished - 被遗弃的狗遭扑杀，尽职的警察被人肉，唯独抛弃狗的人没有受到惩罚 |
