1. One doesn't speak of "divisions" of the brain. There are anatomical features such as "lobes", but not "divisions".

2. The "lateral sulcus or Sylvian fissure" is (obviously) a fissure, and you don't call a fissure a "division".

E Britannica ~ "the lateral sulcus, or fissure of Sylvius, forms the boundary between the temporal lobe and the frontal and parietal lobes."
Diff:
- 外側溝 外侧沟 [wai4 ce4 gou1] /lateral sulcus or Sylvian fissure (a main division of the brain)/
+ 外側溝 外侧沟 [wai4 ce4 gou1] /lateral sulcus or Sylvian fissure (neuroanatomy)/

- 外側裂 外侧裂 [wai4 ce4 lie4] /lateral sulcus or Sylvian fissure (a main division of the brain)/
+ 外側裂 外侧裂 [wai4 ce4 lie4] /lateral sulcus or Sylvian fissure (neuroanatomy)/
