1) It's "string of pearls", not "string of pearl"
2) It's verbal rather than nominal most of the time. For example, J has sentences like
- 您昨晚在电视上妙语如珠.
- 她有时说出的话妙语如珠.
- 一个有名的妙语如珠会讲故事的人.
LA example ~ 他真是個妙語如珠的人,難怪朋友們都喜歡跟他聊天。
