I think "hover" and "soar" are probably derived from the ACE definition of 翱翔 ("hover; soar"). But in a separate sub I've put in for 翱翔, I suggest that "hover" is wrong. LA ~ 〈書〉展翅飛翔。 例 「翱翔」、「鸞翱鳳翥」。 |
