These are not the names of pitches.
For example, A can be "A above middle C" (440 Hz) or it can be a bass note several octaves lower.
In other words, A can refer to notes of various different pitches; it's not the name of any particular pitch.

- 音名 音名 [yin1 ming2] /name of pitch (e.g. C, D, E or do, re, mi)/
+ 音名 音名 [yin1 ming2] /names of the notes of a musical scale (e.g. C, D, E or do, re, mi)/
