"cooking pot" for a 機 sounds unlikely. The idea that 鍋駝機 might be a cooking pot seems to provoke fits of laughter in natives. Myself I don't know, it's a big world out there. I'm not as clever as hyw. But as this is no common word I'd ask for proof. "locomotive" may be mistaken for "locomobile", which Wp says is another word for "portable engine" |
