<< review queue entry 60738 >> Who makes the decisions as to what words go into MDBG? Not having the word Taiwan looks the dictionary is being influenced by political players. I believe you are in Germany and you have freedom of expression etc. Therefore you should ignore pressure from another country - probably China. And include words like Taiwan. I did a double check because it shocked me that the word was not included. Jenny PS I am Canadian. Editor: well, not sure what you are talking about. The dictionary surely *does* include the word Taiwan - and it will show up both ways, either by looking up "Taiwan" or by looking up "台湾". |
