Comment: << review queue entry 383 >> Anon:
it is some form of iron, but i do not know the pinyin.

Miles:
This character 㶸 beats all the online and paper dictionaries.
It may be a Korean or Japanese confection of 火 + 劦
hence no regular Chinese reading.
However, every other split character with 劦 as right
element is [xie2]. The website
http://www.chinamatters.nl/terms.1.html
gives magnetite 㶸铁石 [xie2 tie2 shi2]. We are at the very
obscure end of Unihan knowledge, where my guess is as
good as anyone's. M
Diff:
+ 㶸 㶸 [xie2] /(precise meaning unknown, relates to iron)/(variant of 劦 or of 協|协)/see 㶸铁石 magnetite Fe3O4/
+ 㶸鐵石 㶸铁石 [xie2 tie2 shi2] /magnetite Fe3O4/
+ 劦 劦 [xie2] /variant of 協|协/cooperate/combined labor/
+ 劦 劦 [lie4] /unending exertion/
+ 萬花筒 万花筒 [wan4 hua1 tong3] /kaleidoscope/
+ 硬紙 硬纸 [ying4 zhi3] /cardboard/stiff paper/
