See also J (most sentences are about boxing). The term "bout" means "a wrestling or boxing match" so what do the following terms mean? - a bout of a sporting competition? - a bout of a boxing match? (= a bout of a bout!) - a bout of a confrontation? "round" seems like a better word for all these contexts. A "bout' is more like 場: 目前的賽制中，每場比賽僅要3回合、每回合3分鐘就能決定勝負， Modern competitive bouts are fast-paced and quickly decided: each consists of only three rounds of three minutes each.
