Editor: I don't see any references that say 綮, pronounced [qing4], means "embroidered banner".
In fact, ABC says "綮 [qǐ] (=棨) embroidered streamer", which contradicts what you claim.
Other sources (e.g. LAC) indicate that 綮, pronounced [qing4], doesn't mean anything on its own; instead, it's only used as part of the word 肯綮.
Yet other sources (e.g. New Century, ABC) say that in 肯綮, 綮 is pronounced [qing3].
I've made a note to look into those matters later.
